The management team at this stage is small but versatile. All decisions regarding potential purchases, future plans and process changes of any type are discussed by the team as a whole.
Jack joined Help Refugees at the start of May 2016 and moved to the Woodyard two months later. He previously focused on recording the aid distributed to camps and expanding our social media presence. He then organised the process for the Woodyard to become a UK registered charity and is now writing proposals for future projects.
Tom initially joined the Woodyard for one month in the summer of 2016 but came back to work with us full time from late September. He possesses relentless work ethic and an ability to turn his hands to anything. Tom inspired others by leading from the front when managing the running of the Woodyard.
Rachael arrived in the Woodyard at the same time as her partner Tom. Having initially joined just to spend some time with him, she quickly caught the "bug" too. Forever smiling and bubbly, Rachael is the perfect foil to Tom's management style, making new volunteers feel welcome and part of the team right from the word go.
Nolly joined the Woodyard in July, a quiet and unassuming lady. An unquenchable thirst for breaking pallets, others naturally learnt from working alongside her ever constant presence. Nolly is now in charge of our social media accounts and responding to your emails.
